I forgot to mention that January 25th Marked the two year anniversary of my accident....
Time really has flown by but i have learned soo much from that day.. I truly am starting to realize that my purpose on this earth was not over and i had and have soo much to give and offer to others....
I do not want to forget that day and all it stood for...
Thinking about those pictures i have and the damage that was done to my car, make me realize my life could have been over... But it is not..
Now i have noticed that life has gotten harder after that accident, things have not always gone the way i would have liked.. but that just means God is still molding me and making me who i am suppose to be. The life lessons i have learned since then have been the hardest ones so far to date... and i am actually still dealing with many of them... BUT... i know that after i am done learning and going through these specific lessons i am faced with that i will be a better person.. Every life situation plays affect on the other ones.. It shows the real character of us all.. My accident was no exception.
2 years ago my life could have been taken away from me.... Since then I have Grown, Laughed, Cried, Thrown Up, Cooked, Traveled, and Lived.
But over all I have really Matured...
I've seen things how they really are..
2 years ago i was not the person i am today.. and i thank God for what He has shown me and made me realize, all starting from Jan 25th, 2009, my wake up call.
In other news.
Today Marks 6 weeks since my surgery.. OH MY GOSH has it been a rough 6 weeks...
Now I still can not chew anything until i go and see the doctor on wednesday.. but hey.. the hard long waiting game is almost officially over.. and i am soo happy about that... i am going to be chewing up a storm... well.. soft soft food first and then i will work my way up to the harder food.. But yea.. I am soo excited.. I have not had a burger in OVER 6 WEEKS... I have not had ANYTHING that has to be bitten into for over 6 weeks and i am soo ready to bite into some thing! TeeHee!!!
(Oh my gosh it is soo cold in my room)
One of the funny things about me not being able to eat is that I have been cooking and baking more then ever since i have had my surgery.. I think its funny because right when i can;t have specific things.. I find myself cooking them.. not for me.. but for other people... And because of this my cooking and baking skills have gone WAY UP. Man I found myself falling in love with what I cook....
Plus learning and Knowing these skills can do nothing but help me right..
Look at it like this...
When i finally.. FINALLY.. get on my own (Hopefully very soon.. : -D ) I will need to cook for myself. So why not be diverse in the things i can cook right... I am learning things from all over.. and i am nothing but EXCITED... i find myself NOW cooking almost everyday.. Well.. Baking that is... New things i am coming up with.. (Some of them do not work at all.. but hey.. that's the beauty of cooking... you win some.. and you lose some.. but as long as you tried its all good) Old family recipes i am learning and perfecting and actually putting my own stamp on the recipe's... and just other recipes from different sources that sound good.. adding them to my collection of tried and true dishes..My team has tried many things i have cooked and they are falling in love with my cooking....
People do not know.. this is NOT a Game! HAHAHA
I told people by the time i was 30 I would be a really good cook.. I already see it happening...
But YES FOR BEING ALIVE AND YES FOR STARTING TO FULFILL ONE OF MY DREAMS AND YES FOR ALMOST BEING ABLE TO CHEW AND YES FOR COOKING!
That is all...
Signing off..
Darrick Out.
HAHA.

The Bitter Truth.
"I believe everything happens for a reason! People change so you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so that you will eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes, good things fall apart, so better things can fall together." - Marilyn Monroe
"God doesn't give you the people you want. He gives you the people you need. To hurt you, to love you, to teach you, to break you, to turn you into the person you're supposed to be."
Thanks Jan for reminding me of these things.. especially the last one.....
